Priya P6 October 2025Verified Awesome place for offbeat lovers Everything was perfect, place, cleanliness, food, trekking, hospitality, view. I loved the meadow trek with tasty Lunch. Rishi A14 June 2025Verified JUST WOW PLACE Property: Nicely maintained despite being totally cut-off from any main town. The villas are excellent and comfortable, you wake-up in the morning to hear many types of bird songs without any man made noise and feels like you are in the wild. The weather was excellent with comfortable temperature during the day time and evening temperature was perfect for a bonfire which we enjoyed refreshing our memories. The view to Nanda Devi, Panchachuli, Nandkot etc was mesmerizing. We went for an excellent picnic through a joyful trek, picking and eating fresh Kafals on the way to a nearby bugyal and they arranged a wonderful lunch for us. Treks around: Just adequate and superb each offering different and mesmerizing views For Kids: We had 7 kids in our group they enjoyed a lot in-house slides, badminton, carrom and TT apart from the treks and nature Food: Just superb and homely food with a touch of local food and every meal was excellent Staff: One of the best staff that you can have, polite, helpful and personal care. The property manager Mr. Samson, trek guides, chef, housekeeping all were perfect. One of the best stays, A must go destination, will visit soon again for sure.. Jaikala D14 June 2025Verified Tranquility A true offbeat getaway. Serenity at its best. Cordial staff. Definitely visiting it again soon for a longer stay. Very well managed. The forest surrounding does come along with a few pests which one should be open to otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the beauty of this place. The name of the resort is most appropriate as it’s mostly covered with mist. Thanks to Madhur and Samson for coordinating so well before and during our stay. Rupali G11 June 2025Verified Awesome stay It was our sudden stay , at first it was plan for one day only on the way of Munsiyari but we extended for 2 days. At once we were impressed with its Superb location, we enjoyed a lot , very good helpful staff , good homely food. It was a great experience to stay at Misty Mountains. Hoping to plan again for more days . Yogesh G6 June 2025Verified Best resort in lap of jungle especially for birders One of the best resorts I have been to. It’s totally in the lap of nature. Guid s Walks are beautiful Food is fantastic and staff is ever smiling. Natural pathways to walk and see birds is amazing. We saw almost all birds we were able to spot in Pangot and they were more in number also. Rooms are very specious and clean. Daydream5951700879928 May 2025Verified Great place to chill The location was beautiful. The last few kilometers of the road are very bad but the location makes up for it if you are staying there for more than one day. The staff were very warm and helpful. The rooms and other facilities are good specially given the remoteness of the place. The biggest plus for us was it was pet friendly and our dog had a great time. Great place for birdwatching. FarAway6476337706412 May 2025Verified It was great, one of the best It was one of the best experiences of any stay we have till date. The resort is well maintained, nestled in forests and is serenely quite. Its a must try especially if you love chirping of birds. There was multiple species of birds which will keep you engaged. The staff was polite and prepared great dishes ( the local kumaoni thaali was the best). Overall it's great value for money Mobile340824517767 May 2025Verified Must visit for the view - you can see Himalayan peak from the rooms. This place is beautiful, serene - we could see the Himalayan peaks. Food is incredible. The warmth , hospitality , short treks were the highlights. The weather was beautiful in April- pleasant cold. Was a good get away from the summer heat in Maharashtra. Clean rooms. Extremely comfortable stay. Trip0824582265520 April 2025Verified Overall a very satisfying stay. nice rooms. very good breakfast and dinner. cosy comfortable stay. Those who would like to hike some jungle trail, it would be interesting. A little disappointment with clouds and Jungle fire smog blocking real good view of Himalayan range. Only when it rained, it became clear and we could see the actual surroundings which was magnificent. Teal time to visit could be sept oct nov for appropriate weather and clean surroundings. Rushabh Hemani30 March 2025Verified Get enveloped by nature and warmth of nice people We returned from our short three nights stay at the Misty Mountain, Jhaltola, Uttarakhand. It was one of our most amazing and memorable holidays in recent past. Misty mountains is a beautiful resort that helps recharge and brings out the best in you..one gets enveloped by nature and warmth of the wonderful local team. The beautiful vista and views of the Himalayan range is bonus, despite being the driving force and one of the key attractions!! There is so much to explore in and around the resort and the untouched forests. The trails, walks, quiet and interesting corners and open spaces. Food which is served with warmth and local team who cheerfully attend to our needs. Interaction with Samson, the resort manager, local team - Sonu, Manoj, Sanjay, Raju, Puran and the rest - have left a very positive imprint. The genuine care and warmth. This will surely bring us back along with the nature trails and beautiful moments that we cherished in the resort. All the hikes and trains were very beautiful and different. No photos or reviews can do justice. It has to be experienced. We sketched, pained, talked with fellow guests, meditated, clicked pictures, calmed down from busy work schedule during our short yet memorable stay. We hope to return again in a different season with our like minded family and friends to revisit the joy. Simplicity of the local communities have reinforced our belief in goodness in the most dynamic and challenging times that we are living in globally. Our 24 hours long journey to the Misty mountains was worth every bit, as our short stay has added more joy and strengthened our love for simplicity and little joys of life. Sky may not be clear all days for a full view of the Himalayan mountain rages, but there is so much more to appreciate in the nature and forest around to compensate. May the Misty mountains continue to remain warm place to invite guests who believe and love simplicity of nature and its beauty. We look forward to our visit again!!
