Staying at Misty Mountains, Jhaltola was an unforgettable experience!
While the natural beauty of the place is absolutely breathtaking — surrounded by dense जंगल, peaceful silence, and stunning views — what truly made our stay exceptional was the hospitality led by **Rajendra Singh Bisht (Raju Bhai)** and his amazing team.
They work tirelessly to make guests feel comfortable in the middle of the jungle. Whether it’s arranging a trek, preparing food, or helping with anything you need — they are always on their toes from morning till night, yet greet you with the same warm smile every single time.
I’ve visited many scenic places before and may even find better views elsewhere in the future — but I have rarely experienced this level of heartfelt hospitality. Their dedication and ever-smiling attitude from 7 AM to 10 PM, despite working continuously, truly deserves appreciation.
Couldn’t resist writing this review. Would love to visit again — not just for the place, but for the people who make it feel like home.
Hats off to Raju Bhai and the entire team! 🙌

Visited this lovely place along with my wife and son on way to Munsiyari and spent one night. We found it so nice that we had wanted to stop again on our return but due paucity of time couldn’t do so. We reached in the evening after a long drive from Mukteshwar. Mr Samson, the caretaker was constantly in touch with us and kept inquiring about our well being all the way. He sent a vehicle to guide us in for the last few kilometres. Although we had thought we’d reach by lunchtime but had got late, the staff nonetheless treated us to Piping hot pakoras and Tea (as per my wife's instructions). It was so calm and peaceful. While dinner was being prepared we took a short walk and one was left wondering about the serenity and beauty of this lovely place. My wife and me had a photo shoot because of the lovely flowers which grew all around. It’s a place where you need to spend a month doing nothing if you need to rejuvenate.Jungle sounds which we miss in cities were there. The experience was just lovely and one was left wondering how well this resort was being run in such a remote part of India. The staff was excellent and you could literally demand anything for food.
Unfortunately due to cloudy weather we couldn’t get the stunning views of the far away mountains. It was with a heavy heart that we had to leave on our onward journey the next day after a sumptuous breakfast. Alas we had to bid Adieu to the lovely Mr Samson. Surprisingly the roads were good with fuel being available all along.
